spring banners and the super moon

what I'm working on today:
more spring banners for my shop
(seen here in the "hanging out to dry stage")

I use my own hand carved rubber stamp designs

hand paint them

and adhere them to teabag papers
(I'll show you the finished banners when I'm done)

and the super moon as I saw it this morning at 5:30:

Great prints on the text pages and tea bags. I love your work.
The picture of the moon came out good. Mine, not so good! But it was beautiful.

These are so gorgeous !! They have a beautiful delicate 'earthiness' about them. Fantastic work Kimmie. xx

Aside from that these designs are very nice indeed, have you noticed, as I have, that when I do things in multiples (as I do sometimes when an idea gets going toward a material reality--often say with holiday cards), that when I'm done and they are all dis[played in one place, a feeling of deep satisfaction comes over me.

I spent nearly an hour trying to get a photo of the moon, but all I got was a blur. I have always admired your hand carved stamps. I would LOVE to be that creative with a pencil and a knife. And it looks like those are tea dyed muslin backgrounds, too. Wonderful banners (or as my British friends call them: buntings).

Today's tea post:
