I've been repairing a vintage hexagon quilt top I picked up in the fall
and I'm in love
I was working on it over the weekend
and now that it's Monday, my thoughts returned to my art
... and it occurred to me ....
the hexie love can continue
and continue it does
... a tea bag paper hexagon quilt in it's very earliest beginnings ...

Well, of course. Because that's the way you roll -- making something beautiful out of the quotidian. I can't wait to see both projects!
clever--creative--cozy--and oh, so very pretty.
You always do the neatest things with tea bags...so creative.
they look like petals torn from faded roses! how beautiful.

Beautiful quilt! I;m sure your paper quilt will be very pretty too...yet extremely fragile.
I'm super impressed with both the old quilt AND the beautiful tea bags you have chosen to make this new paper quilt.
