tea and happy mail

Today's tea is Numi Puerh Tea sent to me by Patty. We recently played in a a teacup swap and as luck would have it, I drew her name and she drew mine. Of course, she sent more than just a teacup - and the teacup is not just a teacup either ..... isn't it beautiful?

She also loaded me down with all kinds of other goodies ..... like honey soap, fun ephemera, gorgeous postcard art, bottle caps (I love bottle caps) ....

.... a really cool altered sea urchin shell, a wonderful german beeswax ornament, and look what she tied the packages with ..... altered twist ties: "real life" and "happy go lucky"
Isn't that just such a cool idea?!

I think she must have included some of her Virginia sunshine too ....
look at what a beautiful day it is promising to be!
No rain in the forecast until Thursday! Yay!

Thank you Patty :)

I think we traded sunshine from coast to coast ... your precious altered puzzle piece that you sent me says: "I saw bright sunshine"
:) thank you SO much for everything, I feel honored having Kimmie art pieces now!

What a marvelous Tea Party! Kimmie's package is perfect for her. The cup is beautiful and delicate. Patty's art is always intriguing. The soap looks wonderful. The teas are bound to be tasty, tasty. The Virginia sunshine is awesome.

I'm glad you both took part in the exchange. I hope everyone is as pleased as you are!

I tried my first Numy Puerh Tea this past week...Magnolia.

I thought you were going to talk more about the Puerh! How did it taste? Did you enjoy it? Would you like to drink more of it? --Spirituality of Tea

Jason - the puerh tea was delicious .... it was a chocolate puerh .... so is that a pure puerh? (no pun intended there ;))

I will link to your site next week - it's pretty cool - I think you must be our resident expert :)
