sharing ...

... can be as simple as passing along an idea

Tracey Fletcher King is now drying her teabags on the windowsill (just like me!) all because I shared an idea with her ... she says, "spent all day following Matt and Phoebe around and nabbing their teabags before they went anywhere.... the ledge in the kitchen is looking like the teabag graveyard...xx"

and that's all the way in Australia!

... and sharing can be as involved as sending a package international mail ...
just because I mentioned to Nancy (Bits By Nancy)
that she had quite a find there with her antique buttons and really cool garters
... she sent me some!!!

and that was all the way from Canada!
I know
Canada is not that far
but getting our postal systems to work together harmoniously
makes it feel like it's the other side of the world

... and she included some Exotica Tea in this really neat handmade teabag style gift pouch ...
sharing a great idea that I will definitely repeat!

it looks really really special
I'll be having some after dinner
lemon grass and citrus peels and peppercorns
Thank you Nancy!!!

... and thank YOU so much for stopping by today ...
it's ALWAYS fun to share tea time with you
:)

That's such a pretty plate in the last photo -- is it your "wedding china?"

The tea bag graveyard has actually undergone a renovation and expansion because Matt replaced my wooden venetian for a roman blind in the kitchen, so I have a whole new window sill to line them up on... and it gets the afternoon sun at this time of the year... so excited... and I love the textures... so excited and inspired... now the other things are very very cool as well... how cute is that teabag gift pouch... just gorgeous... Tuesday Tea friends are the best aren't they...xx

here's my tea post...

Well that exotic tea sounds amazing! and the photo of it is very tempting, indeed. I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago when I told someone I coveted their hand made tea cups with a wonderful Buddhist saying. She sent me one! I, in return made her a dream catcher and sent it to her. Sharing on the web is Great FUN!!

what lovely friends and connections you have made via your beautiful blog. i stopped drying my teabags but after seeing you use them in the little books as pages i will start again. i half dry them with the tea inside, then open and dump out the tea so they dry fast. however, maybe they dont get as dark.

How fun to receive surprise treasures by mail. That tea pouch is so sweet and the tea sounds very exotic indeed. Sharing across blogland is a wonderful thing. Wishing you all the best, Tammy

Sharing is extra special in blogland. I know what you mean when you say from across the world. Blogging has brought so many of us together and not just for sharing of ideas, but also for sharing of gifts made of love. That tea bag gift bag is so clever. I would never have thought of something like that.

Have a great Tea Tuesday:

You are very welcome Kim, this is one of my favourite teas.
I have yet to save and make something with the tea bags, but I do sometimes empty the little bags into a plant pot and stir it around with the dirt :)
I'm here for tea, but I'll have to check everones posts later....when home from town.
