This looks right up my Oliver's alley. He loves anything miniature. I recently bought him this tiny little envelope that was filled with religious icon stuff -- I think it was from Latin America. Thanks for the link!
Just got back from exploring the flickr site - amazing! Lots of creative and inventive ways to stuff tiny treasures into a small space. Hugs, Terri xoxo
Hmm, I've accomplished nothing else today - maybe I'll give this a try!!! I just happen to have one tiny matchbox!!!!!! Love the dried grapefruits- I might try that also - bet they smell good while drying in the oven.
Just made my box- when the glue dries, I'll post it tomorrow - !I have 23 items in it now - from looking at the site- 104 items in a matchbox!!! I see the secret is tiny, tiny, tiny- an ant, a lavender bud, a grain of sand.....!!!!!LOL
it's mine all mine ;) and I adore each and every treasure Kimmie
I would call it a box of delights, but junk drawer is a prized and necessary item in our home for certain! (make that plural LOL)
Your package arrived today to my absolute delight ... lucky lucky me ... hope the mailman delivered on your end too!
I will be doing a Tea Tuesday post on the big box of delights you gifted me with.
Happy Hallowe'en to you and yours and thank you from the bottom of my heart for each and every treasure...I wanted to "call" you and thank you teehee! Know that you've brought sunshine to a dreary day and many warm twinkles in my heart dear friend! oxoxoxoxo ~*~ Patty p.s. I'm off to check out the linkie :)
Kimmie, I'm a member of this group too bbut i have never posted anything:-( Before I went digital, matchbox art was one of the things I did and I keep meaning to photograph and post them. I love your selection x

I think I'll show my 12yr old son this link - maybe he'll use matchboxes instead of his pockets.
Great idea!
One year my mother found a little treasure for each of us and wrapped it in a little matchbox ... it was great!
