and so the summer begins

 school just got out yesterday

why are the last couple of weeks are such a frenzy of activity?

field trips and band concerts and talent shows and graduations and final exams

it makes one want to lie down on the green grass and just look up at things

whew - I know exactly how you feel! I am happy to say the youngest has now graduated high school - I should lay down in the grass and celebrate! Love your pictures!

Busy times. I had three kids, but mine were spread out a bit, four years between each of them. Whew! Makes me tired just remembering all of it. LOL
Good perspective for the photos. Very nice.
Hope your summer is grand!

the photos let us lie down and look up with you, for which I am grateful.

I'm with you... Crazy busy at the end.
I see I'm not the only one making the neighbors think while out with the the camera. :) Lovely shots!

I think lying down in the grass is so very 'therapeutic', and the view is always beautiful, we can get a new perspective on life and it reminds me of being a kid again. The end of the school year is always frantic and busy.....be thankful you don't have Christmas in one weeks time as well tho, as we do in Australia where our school year ends in December !!!! Enjoy your summer and enjoy the holidays and no, sadly I won't get to see the Sydney Dance Co. production as it's not coming to a 'town near me'. xx
