not just tea ...

... but a taste of spring tea ...

like this light and delicate shortbread cookie ... all it might need is a sprinkling of pink sugar

and this perfectly blue sky with the buzzing sound of a small plane

and a chance meeting at the park with some parachutes

spring feels like it's just around the corner on a day like this!

how are you this fine tuesday?

I love your post. Your simple elegance brightens my day as I struggle to write my needed proposal for Thursday. We shared the same blue crystal skies...and tonight we are almost in a full moon. Blessings to you over a cup of tea ...green tea with pomegranate plus a touch of fresh lemon. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

What a cute little cookie on a cute little plate. Blue skies look nice. Here we have cold weather again and believe it or not... RAIN! Whoohoo!

How am I feeling? Not like spring, that's for sure. We won't feel like that till April sometime. But still love your little cookie - it looks good even without the pink sugar sprinkles.

Amazing weather we have been having on the west coast . . . no winter this year, just a very cool summer, and yes we are on to Spring, or so it seems.
Today? I'm off the local arts center, for a few hours, then back to the 'salt mines' i.e., studio, gotta get some work done. too many deadlines looming.
enjoy your day! (beautiful photos!)

You take the most incredible photos. I really want your camera. Would you tell me what kind you have? I love the spring inspired look you got from the plate.

What a cute cookie. I like that tea pot design. Speaking of designs, I'm working on my AB class and trying to come up with a few designs of my own.

Here is my tea post for this cold and wintery Tea Tuesday from the mid-west:

Happy Tuesday Kimmie! Our blue skies have turned to gray today. Boo! Your little shortbread tea cookie is very sweet and I bet it tastes oh so good. My post is about cookies today, too. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week. Tammy

I have that same cookie cutter!!! Haven't used it in ages (and probably SHOULD on Tuesday!) Your cookie photo is sublime (as is all of your photography!)

I say pish posh on the ground hog and him predictin another 6 weeks of winter. As far as I am concerned, spring is HERE, as evidenced by your blue sky and fair weather. We are enjoying the same, most days, when it's not raining.

Happy Tea Day to you. I am drinking tea today!

I'm wonderful, thanks for asking, but oh, I wish we had more signs of Spring :)

It certainly does look like spring where you are! Green grass and everything!
It was another busy Tuesday for me so I had to skip tea. :(

I love the "surreal" shot of the family enthralled by the daring people that lift off from Kite Hill in their colorful para-gliders on a blustery, almost springlike day.
