because art is a daily practice
i think this is a fertile field, and the illustration just right in tone and color > night gardens, night flights, night feasts < carry On!
You are very creative and oh such a good artist. I think this concept suits you well.
Oh this could be so much fun!!! You go girl!!! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
I love it. So pretty. How about Night Shades? Night Lights? Nights in Shining Armor? You could make any word play look beautiful with your creative brush strokes.
totally charming already Kimmie...night holds special magic with its own special light mystery and glow...the crescent moon last night was the most beautiful slice...tonite it's too cold and windy to have a look...brrrLOVE what you've done here...don't stop!oxo
I think you are very talented! I love your work, Kimmie.
Fabulous! carry on!
These are wonderful Kimmie. The first thing I thought of was 'night owls' or 'night songs', because I hear one out my window right now. :)
I really like it -- do you remember Cooper Edens? More "precious," perhaps than your work, but quirky like yours.
Your paintings are so lovely. I know whatever your creative mind can think up will be great. Best wishes, Tammy
Love love it. Paintings are fab and the idea is great!!! The moon and stars are charming and the trees and grass so animated. Go for it. xox Corrine
Go for it!! I think it is great. I thought of doing "night paintings" when I was in college but I think I was drunk when the idea struck and so it never took root, lol. I am loving the "night surfing" /super!!Peace~Dawn
ah, delightful paintings and idea. perfect. your style feels just right for a children's book.
Keep it up!! I love reading to my gals and am always so excited when I find a book that is really artistic. I love what you have here!
Night can be so scary, for adults as well as children, but your illustrations are inviting and rather mystical. And a bit quirky! (Which I love!) Onward!
Love it! I think it would be visually wonderful - I love looking at the pics, kids would too. You can always test it out at blurb.com. I put together a little book using my cactus paintings and just bought 10 copies for family. Helps to see the layout, type style, etc.
So clever!! My girl wrote a short story that I really want to illustrate but I'm not good at drawing people.
I think it's a wonderful idea especially for those children afraid of the dark. Lovely.
yup, i definitely see more coming out of this....helping little sweets make fun of the dark? beautiful, kimmie
I think they are lovely, funny and have that, got-to-look-again quality.Fab!xx
I love it!!!
How wonderful! I'm not a kid (except at heart) but I would read it :)
I do night washing often in summer so the clothes don't fade in the heat and humidity here.... just have to watch for the fruit bats in the mango trees... not pretty to wake up to washing covered in fruit bat droppings... love the sky in these and think they would be an amazing series...xx
Really great. I think you are always creating in your mind and so whatever you come up with will always be great. Sometimes we just can't help ourselves. Inspiration is everywhere!
