"womanly arts" tea

A funny title for today's post ...
I think I've been watching too much PBS Masterpiece ("Downton Abbey")
Do you ever feel relegated to certain tasks just because you are female?
Silly question.
Of course you do.

Do you attempt to elevate those tasks to an art form?

Or as Jean has said: to a blessing

She said she cleans her kitchen in the morning and thinks of it as
blessing her kitchen

I would surely go mad without blessings and the artful life.

* * *

 ... and then I found these on my camera as I uploaded today's tea pictures.
The girls were playing dress up yesterday and I let them use my camera.
I'm so glad I did!

Oh I love your post Kimmie, and isn't it way better to be a woman with our arts, than a man? Even if we have to clean the kitchen? Happy tea to you, hugs, Christen

I've always felt that my day is filled with many 'blessings'!!! And, of course, there have always been tasks relegated to us because we are women. As for allowing the girls to use your camera -- FABULOUS!!! LOVE those captures -- they are priceless!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

You know I'm one of the first to normally check your blog each Wednesday afternoon. But here it is late Thursday and I'm just now getting around to the list of participants. My life is no longer my own. I need to bless my kitchen because it is possibly the one thing that is NOT falling down around me!! And I think some tea would be a good thing about now.

Thanks for visiting every week and leaving such awesome comments. I wouldn't miss Tuesday for the world, even if my world was caving in around me. Thanks for being such a wonderful and gracious host.
