journal page

I did this journal page while mulling over something

mulling over the idea of offering a class in my home

a journaling class using this new-found technique I love

but would other people take to it like I did?

would they part with their time, some cash and a bit of a drive in the car?
am I enthusiastic about a process enough to be infectious in my enthusiasm?
is it worth the trouble?
the potential for failure?
the potential for success?
and what would that look like?
a swan dive or a belly flop?

* * *

do you mull over things like I do?

i TOTALLY do that!! i hope you try it...your journal pages look fantastic and every try is one step closer to the big splash even if you back down the first couple times...i believe in you and would totally be there if it wasn't for these silly states between us...xo

Yes, i think we all 'mull' in a similar fashion.

about teaching that class - again i say yes. it looks like a wonderful technique. i would sign up, if i could drive there!

I say Yes too..We all do the same but go ahead and teach a class. You will never know unless you try.
I would also be there except for the other states inbetween.

Years ago (when I was mulling whether or not to quit my day job and paint kid's murals), my cousin sent me a book on Grandma Moses with an inscription that read, "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" Go for it!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Absolutely yes! I, too, would sign up if I could drive there. Iowa is tooooooo far. I taught basket weaving in my home a few years back and it was so much fun and so popular!! I was always so thrilled to see how thrilled my students were with their projects. Go for it.

I totally mull over things but I make snap decisions pretty well, too. That gets me into trouble.

I'd take your class in a split second.

I'm a Libra. We mull until we become a tasty mulled wine. I have given workshops in my home at times. No matter how they turn out, you will have fun and will learn something about putting yourself out there in the world. Guaranteed. Go for it, I say! You have so much to offer. Did you tell us about this new technique??

If I lived near you...or remotely close...I'd take it. If had the opportunity to do something like that, Id do it. Life is short, what do you have to lose? Plus. your work is fantastic, and I am loving it here!! Great piece Kimmie!

Oh hes! I do mull over things like that. It's so hard to put yourself out there and then all the what if's start to ring in your ears. You will not know till you try. It may be fabulous or not, but you won't know till you try. I'm betting on fabulous!

I'm always mulling. Hate the thought of putting myself out there, BUT.......if you don't try you'll never know. Go for it! Your work is beautiful and if you love this technique, there will be others who do too!

It's always wise to mull things over but sometimes you have to draw a line under the mulling and move forward. I always remember the phrase 'the paralysis of analysis'. What's the worst that can happen? Be brave, go for it. Wish I lived closer, I'd be up for coming along :)

I say go for it.

I'm not much for classes and such, which is what makes blogging so tremendously wonderfully available.

But I know people will love and appreciate this.

I can only stay a minute, but I'll be back later for tea (after 5) and tell you YES, people would drive to take the class. Besides, you are a great teacher, and you would be able to say you DID IT!!

Oh my, yes! Mull, mull, mull. I'm a first-class muller. But I'll add my vote to those above: I'd take your class, too!
