my word

for 2011

new year's resolutions are not something I do
but it got me thinking about the word

resolution

I like to shorten things and make them smaller

resolution

becomes

resolute

journal page

The perfect word for 2011. And a gorgeous journal page, too.

That is beautiful. And what sort of book do you use for your journals that you can paint and collage and write in?

Your journal page is so awesome!!! Love the words I keep reading for others word of the year. I've never chosen a "word" before.

I like it! I would also add the word "resolve" which can be taken as an action word. It's one I love to think about in my art and my life, as in problem-solving and finding solutions. Congrats, and Happy New Year!
