Those keys will chime beautifully. It is so nice to have unusual objects in the garden? I once saw a set of chimes made of cutlery....in Scotland.....had a nice ring to them.
Not sure what random thoughts I have had today......friend came to call and we chatted and went to garden shops and had a feast of loveliness.
Thanks for your wonderful comment:)

I think you are right, they will be wonderful as chimes. Random thoughts for today, for me, include what I will paint next, how I will make hypertufa pots and about all the out of town family functions I have to go to this month.

my random thought is that I love the way the trees are reflected in your tea...

I can't wait to see your key inspired wind chimes. I have wind chimes all around the front of my house (front porch), so that project has my curiosity piqued.

Love the photo of the "leafy tree" in the tea.

Lovely post dear Kimmie
and a few of my thoughts are:

must Google 'barm brack'...

I ♥ my acupuncturist...she is SO amazing!

this was the kind of day to seal in a jar and release when you want a perfectly lovely day...

I ♥ Spring!

Great photo you have going there, and mental imagery you have conjured!!! The keys, the cuppa, the chime, and the reflection is awesome! What a beautiful day!

Most of my thoughts are random on a beautiful spring day:
must paint porch....I think I can smell worms...I enjoy the flying bird shadows that flash over me as I labor to paint cedar shakes on the deck...the chickens sure are making a racket as they lay today....

Barm Brack is a tasty, yeasty, sweet bread with currants and orange peel - delicious with tea. I made some for St. Patrick's day and froze the leftover slices so I could savor it with my tea. I'll have to make more because that was the last if it!
