Rfrshing

... the e's have been shot out with bullets

are you having a refreshing weekend?
or a rfrshing one, like me?

this is another polaroid emulsion lift
this time on watercolor paper
I allowed the right corner to float and drape as I did the transfer
it really works well with this rigid composition
don't you think?
I think I'm due for some float and drape in my own life
... looking forward to Sunday afternoon ...
that's when I take a big old nap

This looks fantastic, love it...very 'arty' but technique sounds "technical". I'm assuming it only works with polaroids. Love you quilt too (previous post), very pretty with a nice 'fresh', vintage feel. Enjoy your Sunday napzzzzzzzzz. xx

This process looks amazing... and loved it when you transferred it onto the glass a few posts back... just stunning...
I like your one fine day series very much, and every time I see them they remind me of a song from many years ago so somehow those posts now have a soundtrack in my head... funny how you made me think of that song... haven't thought of it since I was 15!!! here is the link if you are curious... and just remember i was a child of the 80's so it isn't any great shakes!!!

Super cool. I thought you have maybe done that with Photoshop instead of the real deal :) Love the photo itself but the transfer adds so much!

"Float and drape" is a seriously good expression.

Sleep well!

Love it!

Not such a refreshing weekend here ... my mother has a chest infection post her radiotherapy for breast cancer and my mother-in-law has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer ... we could do with some of that float and drape around here!

When I get to take a nap on a Sunday I almost get giddy and it takes me a bit to settle down to fall asleep. On the couch on a Sunday----SAweet!

See, I got so excited about the prospect of a Sunday nap that I forgot to comment on the photo transfer. I would love to try this, it looks so neat!
