finding light

I try to keep things light here
but I have been going through a personal thing that has me up one day and down the next
... and it's affecting my blog ...

I try to say "it's one fine day"
but some days I just can't

today I held up one of my older photo transfers to the light
and it was transformed
... now they're all strung from thread and hanging in my window ...

and it's little things like that that change everything

Light enhances almost everything. These are really beautiful and it is a trick I often use when taking photos.
Wishing you well:)

Your photo transfer images are truly beautiful....soft, and a little fuzzy, but it is the distressed imperfections that make them unique and interesting. Our personalities and lives are the same. xx

So glad you found the light this fine day. I really love the photo transfer with the two chairs. It is divine.

I imagine you as being quite receptive to any light -- however it comes --

Love seeing these hanging in the window. Your hanging tea bags that are stamped grace on of mine. Hope your ups and downs settle soon...that unbalanced stuff in life is sometimes so hard to deal with. Thoughts with you. xox

Hope things are easing up for you Kimmie. Keep that positive 'find the light' and 'one fine day' attitude. You inspire others to do the same.
Your 'light filled' little pieces of art are amazing. Sort of like some egg shaped pieces of glass I have. They don't look like much until you hold them up to the light. I bet when you saw your pieces in the light you were smiling as big as I was when I saw my glass transform. :)
Hope you have a wonderful day.

I forgot to tell you....:)
I named her Lily, as per your suggestion. It's perfect! Thanks. :) I will be posting more of her transformation soon.

You don't have to try to be anything else but you when you are down. People actually get encouraged when they get to see the human and not so great days we have. I hope the sun will shine a little more steadily for you very soon. Your photo transfers are really beautiful. I wish I knew how to do that.

I do hope your equilibrium will soon be restored, and meanwhile that your beautiful art continues to furnish you with solitude and joy.
