... well new to me at least
polaroid emulsion lift has been around for several years
but I never had a polaroid camera to play with
another one of the things my dad gave me is an old 600SE
(or goose)
here are some snaps I took yesterday
-rather ho hum-
but, transfer them to something interesting
like beach glass and pottery
(flotsam and jetsam)
and the magic happens
if you are interested in the how-to's:
google Polaroid Emulsion Lift Technique
I didn't find any tutorials for transferring the image to glass or ceramic
so I just did it the same way I saw people doing it for paper
*
and a shameless plug:
these pieces are available in my Etsy shop
and any new sales will fuel my new film craving
xoxo :) xoxo

Ooooh these look amazing. The transfer process really picks up a lot of detail.... truly magic. Good luck with sales, I know the film is very expensive. xx
Very cool! :) Tammy
Shameless plugs are good! Love this technique.....especially on such ordinary things it elevates them to a new height. xox
that is pretty sweet. I like it.

This is just so fantastic. I love doing transfers and I have tried many methods....this appeals to me so much I am going to try to get hold of a camera. Though, I am told they are now obsolete
What you have made Kim, is magical. I am so excited about the wonderful foliage on sea glass
It is so romantic.
Xxx

Lovely :)
You know I'm a big Polaroid fan don't you (there's a list of my principal Polaroid cameras on the FAQ page on the blog) ... trouble is film for them is so expensive now here in the UK.
