and paper can be especially uncooperative
(it has no weave to part a path for the needle-eye & thread)
... so I use pliers ...

ReplyDeleteCute metal work. I've used pliers before because I don't use a thimble and sometimes, like you said, the piece is just too contrary.

ReplyDeleteThose flowers look very familiar. :) Using a can lid for the back is a neat idea. Would definitely help stabilize them... Mine tend to be more "flower shaped" as in dipped in the middle.

These are so fun and so gorgeous and you are just so clever. I usually try to avoid pliers; if I have to use them it usually means something has gone wrong and something has got stuck or wedged somewhere it shouldn't be, but you use them to create beauty. Love your style. xx
