prim and proper

I brightened up my workspace with this lovely little primula from the grocery store today

I thought she needed to have her portrait done

sometimes I think I have to always be near water
... even if it's only an inch wide and a millimeter deep

happy Thursday
it's been fun to join you on another wintery day
 - I hope yours has a spot of color in it too!

It's rainy here in Los Angeles, but since it so rarely does rain, I'm enjoying the gray! Your spot of color reminds me that it will soon look more like that outside!

Make sure you water that primula from the bottom if you don't know that already. :) Lovely painting! Hugs! deb

Lovely little painting of a lovely little flowering plant. I always loved the pink against that green.
Well, we hit 84 yesterday. Crazy!

Yes please do water from the bottom....and your painting is so sweet...I may look at my grocery store and see if they have a prim for me. We are having snow today and ICE ...which is worse than the snowfall. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

There's more beautiful color! We had what we called a "sharpie party" for color and for lifting spirits while there was sickness. I had bought a big pack of sharpies at our dollar store on a whim and lo and behold a few days later I was so happy we had them. We doodled and colored and it was nice. I filled a big almost poster size piece of cardstock. I'm not sure I've ever colored that much even as a kid.

No colour here at all today, so your primula and your watercolour were just the burst I was needing!
