I brightened up my workspace with this lovely little primula from the grocery store today
I thought she needed to have her portrait done
sometimes I think I have to always be near water
... even if it's only an inch wide and a millimeter deep
happy Thursday
it's been fun to join you on another wintery day
- I hope yours has a spot of color in it too!

It's rainy here in Los Angeles, but since it so rarely does rain, I'm enjoying the gray! Your spot of color reminds me that it will soon look more like that outside!
Make sure you water that primula from the bottom if you don't know that already. :) Lovely painting! Hugs! deb
That's a lovely little gem of a plant and a sweet little painting of it. Couldn't sleep so here I am at 5am and pleased to see something so lovely

Lovely puddling watercolor primula. What better flower to usher in a bit of Spring. xox
Lovely little painting of a lovely little flowering plant. I always loved the pink against that green.
Well, we hit 84 yesterday. Crazy!
I adore primroses, I think I need to get one too, saw them at the grocery store the other day! I love your watercolor, it's gorgeous!
lovely, and I was looking at them too, and I know I will buy them soon, they are so springy...
This color is a heart's delight !
ENjoy your new friend !
Yes please do water from the bottom....and your painting is so sweet...I may look at my grocery store and see if they have a prim for me. We are having snow today and ICE ...which is worse than the snowfall. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
There's more beautiful color! We had what we called a "sharpie party" for color and for lifting spirits while there was sickness. I had bought a big pack of sharpies at our dollar store on a whim and lo and behold a few days later I was so happy we had them. We doodled and colored and it was nice. I filled a big almost poster size piece of cardstock. I'm not sure I've ever colored that much even as a kid.
Love your watercolor piece!
Your new plant has got to help in brightening the mood. I love how "proper" your writing is as well. Beautiful!!
perfectly gorgeous and wonderful dear Kimmie!
I bought myself a little pot of tete a tete mini daffs and they are bursting forth this weekend

lovely cheerful sparkle from the plant. and beautiful rendering from your hand and brush. spring will come but here...not for a good while.
your prim is beautiful! i was just thinking yesterday, after seeing a post on pinterest of a window ledge filled with plants in colorful pots, that i needed to do that...it has been like the arctic tundra here...i think i'm going to the flower show at my favorite place this week...i need me some pink!
No colour here at all today, so your primula and your watercolour were just the burst I was needing!
