our summer stay-cation took us to the falls
Snoqualmie Falls just outside of Fall City, Washington
the water creates a mist that shrouds everything
after a few minutes we were all wet, just as if it had rained
a happy place for flowers clinging to cliffs
I am so sorry you had to visit such an awful place. ;)
ReplyDeleteha ha ha :)
ReplyDeleteI guess we spend 8 months indoors and out of the rain - and then on nice summer days we go visit patches of snow and waterfalls that leave us drenched :)
Seriously, if I may--what a gorgeous place to be. I can almost feel the mist.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ! I got a little shiver just looking, so misty and wet. Very clever photos of that "moving" water. Thanks for sharing such a pretty spot. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Reminds me of our trip to Nepal last year. Tons of rain every day and yet we still visited falls and got even more wet. :) Have a super Saturday. Tammy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love waterfalls. They are so relaxing, refreshing, and energizing. What a great visit-and of course wonderful pics! Take care and have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWow and double WOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing? I hiked to the bottom of it when I was out there in 1980. I so love it out there... and as much as I love rain (and now that I'm menopausal cooler temps) I've been dreaming about living out there. Love your photos... Makes me want to find mine and relive the trip... Which BTW was a Greyhound bus round trip from Tampa, FL!

ReplyDeleteIf that's a stay-cation Kimmie, I think I'd like to go and get me one of those!!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing location, scenery and photography. ;D
Have a wonderful weekend ~ enjoy!
I'd have been here sooner, but Blogger wouldn't load for me. Apparently, after asking on my blog, no one else had that problem.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with these shots. Your stay-cations are so much more interesting than mine. Guess it has to do with the places that surround you. The flowers in the mist are my favorite.

ReplyDeleteLooks like such a cooling respite and so empowering from the feeling of being enveloped by nature. xox
