do you have a favorite photo editing program that you already use?
is it software, an app, or online?
... let's share ...
... let's talk about it ...
some of us are old hands at this - and some of us are newbies
it's all good
that second photo took my breath away!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered that the latest version of Picasa has a new editing tool(s) that allow for this kind of changes/ colors, etcs. Check it out, it's free.
i have used iPhoto, PSE and Picasa...and a couple of the ones that are online for free...i just downloaded the latest version of Picasa, 3.9 and it has some really fun new options like lomo-ish...it meets me in the middle...i have created slideshows for youtube and hopefully, i'll be able to make movies in soon! i LOVE what you did with your gorgeous daffodil....i also like it that i can edit photos in picasa and blog them right into blogger...one thing i don't like about picasa is the way it is organized...after 4 years of using it on a PC, it is still not intuitive for me...thanks for the link to phixr i really like that effect...good question!! thanks for asking! i'll stop back and see what everyone else has to say!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun ! I don't like photo editing because I don't really know what I'm doing....Of course I love the effects tho. I use my iPhoto all the time, and I must say the daffodil done with that is stunning. I love all the other filters as well, cos they are artsy and interesting. Picasa is very good, but I'm with Jean, it's 'clumbsy' to use. I'm going off to visit those on line filter places and have a play, thanks for sharing Kimmie. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful effects! On my laptop I use iPhoto, but what I love most is the PhotoToaster app I use on my iPhone. Haven't tried any of the others you shared, but they look interesting!
ReplyDeleteI just point the camera and shoot!
ReplyDeleteI've got such a lot to learn :$
I'm going to have to put some time aside (from heaven knows where) to investigate.
Thanks for sharing. Neesie :D
I just take the picture as is.
ReplyDeletethe second version makes the yellow very bright as it often is on some daff's. Makes it more impressive.
i really like the last photo though. I guess I figure if a photo is to be manipulated, really make it look manipulated. love the edges on this and the bit of pink.
just beautiful love them all, and would be hard pressed to pick a fav...
ReplyDeleteThat last one is Killer! Love it.. On my iPhone I use instagram or magic hour (which I love) and have been trying out pic grunger ( lots of fun). Since Picnik is closing I have been using Be Funky on my lap top but they also have an iPad app-yay! I love filters and frames on my pictures it's like adding accessories.
ReplyDeletePeace~
dawn
I love photo editing as well! I use Photoshop. I love the action sets and making custom brushes. Although I'm really loving the last photo of your with the old film look. I need to figure out how to do that!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a newbie...I'd love to do what you do. My first try was with phixr. Enjoyed the visit will try again. Had problem with the poster effect. I put in text but the Line 1 was still there. Also liked the artzy marble frame. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've been away from my photos for a while now, but after seeing yours it makes me want to try again. They are gorgeous. Love reading your blog. Very creative.
ReplyDeletewow- that last one is cool. I would love to do that to half my photos. I have only played w/ photoshop, and not much even.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fun!
