project tea

I'm working on Christmas gifts for all the teen, between and pre-teen girls in my life

machine sewing is a tedious task.
instead of having a handful of candy corn or m&m's after every seam,
I think I'll have a sip of tea

in fact machine sewing is so tedious
that I just got distracted with the beauty of these scraps

what's the project?
I'm making flowers to stitch onto hair clips
:)

what are you working on while you sip your tea today?
I hope your day is beautiful, peaceful and joy filled
xoxo

My 2 girls always loved hair clips I made for them. Love your tea cup photo. I'm working on art dolls for my November show at the art center. I have one more to make before Saturday. Busy, busy.

These look really beautiful Kimmie and will make wonderful gifts. I am enjoying my tea with a good, long, uninterrupted blog hopping session. Perfect! pen x

These are gorgeous Kimmie!

I'm enjoying coffee and trying to get motivated to go to work.....I'd rather be looking at Tea Tuesday's blogs!

Sounds like a great project Kimmie! I don't mind sewing on the machine but I find hand-sewing more relaxing. Puts me in mind of my grandmother crocheting by table lamp in the evenings. I often wonder how much more I could get done if I turned off the tv?
Love the photos of all the colorful scraps!

and won't all of those lucky girls be thrilled with your Kimmie creations!!!

I just put the finishing touches on a little canvas for a 1st anniversary gift...we fly to CA tomorrow...wish we could scoot up the coast and come see you!

Still dreaming on that!

What fun gifts for all the little girls on your Christmas gift list. So lovely. Since I don't hand sew, I find machine sewing very relaxing. I can see the opposite may be true for you, though.

Since you asked, I'm working on finishing an altered Halloween book:

Hi Kimmie,

I don't know how to use a sewing machine so for sure it would be tedious and torturous for me. :/ Your flowers are beautiful and will make great gifts for the girls. Hope your day is great. Best wishes, Tammy

Love your pretty little flowers! What kind of fabric are you using?
I love to sew and am working on an apron right now.
Tea is always the best reward!
Come by to visit when you can!

Your project looks wonderful...these flowers look so pretty, the fabrics are gorgeous, as are your photographs. No tea post from me, today, but I am busy creating some Christmas projects. Hadn't thought about popping M&Ms while creating....until now, thanks Kimmie. Happy T Tuesday. xx
