My two boys were all dressed up for Cotillion tonight, and that was such a beautiful thing!
Kim, those apples look delish! I love the little 'spoonful of love' :)If anyone wants to see some of my pics of Scotland, I did about 5 posts with some photos. Loved every minute of my trip :)
The photos of your delicious looking apples is beauty to my eyes....I feel like if I touch the computer screen my finger will stick to it. I am a little intimidated by toffee and caramel, I know you have to watch it very carefully or it can burn, but these look so good I may have to have a go at making some. xx
It's been a long time since I had caramel apples. I guess since the kids were growing up. Love your tea cup. Beautiful in my world today....it's my husband. I am so thankful for him.Go here for my tea post today.http://inkspillersattic.blogspot.com/2011/10/hug-tree-earthy-tea-day.html
Hurts my teeth too, but they sure look good. Love you silver heart in the tea cup. xox Corrine
Caramel apples are a mess to eat for sure, but oh SO yummy made with tart apples! I made an apple crisp last night and the beauty is that my kids ASKED for it (I rarely get compliments for my cooking it seems so I take a command performance as a high compliment :)I am having tea in Africa today...http://nathaliethompson.blogspot.com/2011/10/tea-with-mma-ramotswe-and-mma-makutsi.html
Caramel apples make my teeth hurt a tiny bit less than the red candied apples...do they still have those I wonder! It is always special to get food requests from our dear ones...Great wet weather we've been having for sipping tea...today I am enjoying lots of wonderful music to go with it:Nice Light Teaoxo
I love caramel apples, but I agree that one is usually sufficient. I really like the "spoonful of love" charm. It is gorgeous, and that mug looks like some pottery I picked up in Mexico one year.My tea post is here:http://alteredbooklover.blogspot.com/2011/10/tea-with-sunflowers.htmlNow let's have one of those awesome apples.
oh yes they make my teeth hurt too!! a bit tardy today... I was lingering in the sunshine of the caribbean!!! great post and a darling spoonful of love...xohttp://bellantico.blogspot.com/2011/10/tea-in-st-maartenst-martin.html
delicious but im always afraid of pulling out a filling if not a tooth so nowadays i pass them up.
Oh yum! I wouldn't dare bite into one of those either. I cut my apples and usually put a little goat cheese on them. YUM-O.Have a wonderful day!http://halleshobbies.blogspot.com/2011/10/sewing-tea.html
You are beautiful in my day today! and so are your glass insulator tea lights! What a great idea! Your caramel apples are pretty amazing looking too! Happy tea! Visit me for my tea post! http://piecesofd.blogspot.com
Mmm! I have a sweet tooth. Arrived here via Cat’s tea post. A cuppa sounds wonderful, but back to work for me.
I think I've only made caramel apples once ever and am pretty sure it was before kids. My poor kids have been deprived, ha! I'm pretty sure one would take out Audrey's bottom tooth! Happy Tuesday!
Yum. Once a year is about right. I feel the same way about pancakes.
they always look good to me, but your'e right, one is enough. I enjoy sliced apples with caramel to dip them in. Now that's the way to go.
great quote. i love carmel apples but like you my teeth hurt thinking about it. i like to dip wedges of apple in carmel sauce.
Mmmmmmm . .. . .I can almost smell those wonderful spices wafting their way through the Inet! Cinnamon, vanilla and cardamon. Lovely! Awesome pics of those caramel apples . . . I'm drooling all over my keyboard just fantasizing about a bite!!! Hugs, Terri xoxoxo
