October tea

the girls have been asking me to make caramel apples

you really only need one of these in a year
if you're a kid, maybe 2

it makes my teeth hurt just to look at them
:)

the girls can chomp their apples
I will enjoy my tea
a wonderful blend of cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon

a perfect and beautiful October afternoon

My two boys were all dressed up for Cotillion tonight, and that was such a beautiful thing!

Kim, those apples look delish! I love the little 'spoonful of love' :)
If anyone wants to see some of my pics of Scotland, I did about 5 posts with some photos. Loved every minute of my trip :)

The photos of your delicious looking apples is beauty to my eyes....I feel like if I touch the computer screen my finger will stick to it. I am a little intimidated by toffee and caramel, I know you have to watch it very carefully or it can burn, but these look so good I may have to have a go at making some. xx

It's been a long time since I had caramel apples. I guess since the kids were growing up.
Love your tea cup. Beautiful in my world today....it's my husband. I am so thankful for him.
Go here for my tea post today.

Caramel apples are a mess to eat for sure, but oh SO yummy made with tart apples! I made an apple crisp last night and the beauty is that my kids ASKED for it (I rarely get compliments for my cooking it seems so I take a command performance as a high compliment :)

I am having tea in Africa today...

Caramel apples make my teeth hurt a tiny bit less than the red candied apples...do they still have those I wonder!

It is always special to get food requests from our dear ones...

Great wet weather we've been having for sipping tea...today I am enjoying lots of wonderful music to go with it:

I love caramel apples, but I agree that one is usually sufficient. I really like the "spoonful of love" charm. It is gorgeous, and that mug looks like some pottery I picked up in Mexico one year.

My tea post is here:

Now let's have one of those awesome apples.

Oh yum! I wouldn't dare bite into one of those either. I cut my apples and usually put a little goat cheese on them. YUM-O.

Have a wonderful day!

Mmm! I have a sweet tooth. Arrived here via Cat’s tea post. A cuppa sounds wonderful, but back to work for me.

I think I've only made caramel apples once ever and am pretty sure it was before kids. My poor kids have been deprived, ha! I'm pretty sure one would take out Audrey's bottom tooth! Happy Tuesday!

Yum. Once a year is about right. I feel the same way about pancakes.

they always look good to me, but your'e right, one is enough. I enjoy sliced apples with caramel to dip them in. Now that's the way to go.
