late to tea

I'm late to tea this morning!
I think I'm coming down with something - and this peppermint tea is really helping

I almost always drink bagged tea
- I know it's not very sophisticated -
but I save the tea bags

I love the dried and tea stained tea bag paper for art projects

aren't they pretty in the morning light?
I'm already inspired!

what ordinary thing out every ordinary day inspires you?
taking time for a cuppa is a good time to be inspired :)

I hope your day is going well so far!

Love tea stained items. I save them too. I love anything nature related and people are always bringing me feathers, bark, pine cones etc. They say they know I can do something with it in my art. That makes me feel good. Hope you feel better.

Yes your tea bags look very pretty dear Kimmie

I like tea bags for the same reason and did a little photo shoot the other day of emptying a bunch of them and saving the papers

what you have done with yours in the past is such an inspiration!

every day I find the birds that visit our back garden such a delight...I can look over my left shoulder and see lots and with a window open the little wrens that visit tweet such precious songs...yup I'm a cheap date ;)

Happy T to you!

Hi Kimmie, I always love saving my tea bags! Yes, they are inspiring and sometimes a teabag is all I need to get started on a project. Hope you're feeling better!

I hope the tea helps you feel better. I know I'm late, but I had to run some errands and you weren't awake, yet (grin).

Here is my tea post:

So sorry to hear you are feeling a little under the weather. I'm feeling good, but in a slump when it comes to getting anything done. :/ Wishing you all the best, Tammy

There aren't many places I could say this but I'm safe here I'm sure...dryer lint. I used to save it. Then, one day thought I was a goofball and tossed it. However, that wasn't a big step, it's not like I can't accumulate a huge amount in like 2 weeks around here. I've never done anything with it but some of it is quite pretty. :) I hope you are feeling better.

Oh my word......of all the pieces of interesting and barely interesting pieces of paper that
I've taken pains to save -- I've NEVER thought of the actual tea bag! New day for me! (And a bigger stash.)

Happy Tea Tuesday Kimmie and I hope whatever was ailing you has decided to move on. Yes ! I am very inspired by your tea bags. I have certainly used tea and coffee for dying fabric and lace and paper but I have never actually used the bags, so will start saving them. I have seen used round ones used in art journals ( still with the tea inside ) and they look great. Your printed fabric is stunning, love the colour and so is that little bird. Gorgeous work !!

Hopefully the peppermint will kick out whatever is invading. The dried tea bags look like thin parchments sheets waiting to be written on. Inspiration, the barn owls that call outside our window just before dawn. xox Corrine

Not only am i late to tea - I missed it completely!!!! Giveaway on my blog - and, I have some teabags for you - some European ones- been saving them on my windowsill , and then spreading the dried, used, tea in my herb garden. I was tempted to keep one - it is very cool - but, I know I will NEVER use it, and you will!!!LOL
