tea on tuesday

(gloomy)

we're having a typical "low light day" today
(in western washington)
but that is easily fixed in iPhoto

(sunny)

see how good lighting can make anything look better?
and actually, once you get outside the diffused light is almost magic

(the quilt)

it wraps around and between and underneath things
... just like the misty rain ...

(looking up)

the weathering quilt is very wet today
I'm staying warm and cozy indoors
today's tea is Good Earth Original
spicy and delicious
(sorry about the santa mug .... the onslaught is just beginning)

It's been cold here, but no rain. I was impressed by the way the background of the tea cup changed with your color corrections. And I'm SO in love with that rusty fabric. It is going to be awesome when you unbundle it. Stay warm, and have a bright and sunny tea Tuesday, even if you do have to change the background!

Love the Santa cup. You know...out of all my many cups I don't have a Santa cup....hummm, will hve to remedy that! :) Stay warm up there. We were at 86 yesterday. Today at 68 so far. ;)

Good Earth is one of my favorites -- it makes me think of mindfulness meditation classes that I took long ago --

Happy Tuesday tea to you Kimmie. I still have trouble with you putting that beautiful quilt outdoors in the weather....... I know it's for effect and all that, and I'm sure when it is retrieved it will be amazing, just something I have to have an open mind about. I forgot to mention your blog in my 'tea' posting this Tuesday, sorry, I actually remembered that while laying in bed last night...weird.

rainy and gloomy here too. good earth original is always a good choice. i've been trying a mandarin orange green tea. a little bitter if i leave the bag in the cup to long. good for a relaxing moment at work.
