Beautiful -- is that a mussel shell?

Thank you E ... it's the Eastern Oyster .... the state shell of Louisiana and major source of income for many families in the gulf

Kimmie, this quilt has been a labor of love for you, and it shows. OMG! Your stitches are so tiny and perfect. I've got to run over to IHannah's website. Something is telling me that it's chock full of inspiration! Hugs, Terri xoxo

Your quilt looks so beautiful, but so fragile (just like what it is representing I guess) I love the soft muted colours, and every stitch seems to be like a little breath that gives the quilt its "life" and creates the little ripples. It is so special, well done. xx

There's just something so wonderful with hand stitching. Most quilts are machine stitched now. Yours is lovely.
