Those are gorgeous! Love the carnival ones :)
oh wow ..these look amazing..now I will never be able to pick ...wink!!
these look great!! kudos!!
All the cards are terrific. I love the waxed and scrapped ones a lot. And then you sewed around them through the wax it seems? Or did you sew first and then wax?Do you add anything to the wax as was done in our Encaustic's class?Or is it just the beeswax alone?I will try this. I did go THERE to see how. Thanks.
Nice cards. I've been thinking of making some postcards of photos of some of my sewn animal sculptures. You are inspiring me to get to it!
qué lindas kimmie!!TODAS!! all of them great!!!!!! besos!!and happy weekend!
They're awesome, Kimmie! Hugs, Terri xoxo
They are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the process :)Hope your weekend is perfect!Michelle
Beautiful! I enjoy your pictures because you have such an interesting perspective. When you did the encaustic technique how did you print the photos? Ink jet? Photo paper? etc>
Thank you Tammy! These all use actual photos on photo paper. The encaustic technique involves sanding the surface and dipping in beeswax. I call it encaustic because of the beeswax .... But it could be truly encaustic with the addition of pigment. HTH!
these are beautiful! I love the mittened hand with the heart stone.
