tea and fresh paint

This image is deceptively serene :)
Today's tea (Chai) is perched on the window sill of #2 & 3 daughters' room featuring the ONLY wall that has been Completely Repainted. One out of 6 walls that is.

A brief moment of zen: chai tea and something Complete.

*********

Here's the chaos ......

paint supplies

... a spackled, partially primed and test patched wall ....
(the girls aren't babies anymore ..... awwww)

.... and the Dad's very non-zen sense of humor :)

Thanks for dropping in on Today's Tea ...... I hope you're having a peaceful day in spite of any chaos. Please also visit the other Tea on Tuesday gals: Pat, Patty and Christen.

For the past eight years I've painted murals for children, and this reminds me of how quickly childhood passes. First a nursery, then a "Big Girl" Bedroom. Next stop - teenagers!

Thanks for the tea and a peek at the marvelous new color! Hugs, Terri

Oooo - your green looks similar to the color I painted my studio! Lovely, serene, all colors go with it... I painted it 5 years ago and love it every day!

Reminds me of my painting encounters this summer! Lovely shade of green, BTW.

That green is my absolute favourite colour! I would paint my whole house in it - if DH would let me! I call it 'chartreuse' (love that word).
Hope you enjoyed your zen moment...
