staying in and getting out

back to that ball of luscious raspberry colored yarn:

I've got one sock done and one on the sticks

this is my 4th pair of socks this winter and I'm happy to say that after knitting 6 socks, my 7th is perfect and my 8th is (fingers crossed) coming out perfectly

meanwhile:
this afternoon is supposed to turn sunny
(after this fog burns off)
and then I'll be headed down to the beach collecting flotsam and jetsam
(actually, I'll go whether the sun makes an appearance or not)

.... are you able to get outside today?

I actually could go outside today...but am choosing to stay in. It's up to 9°F and the sun is shining.
Hope you find some wonderful goodies on the beach!!

Sweet socks !
Didn't get outside today other than to go from the car to the brand new huge antique/consignment shop that David and I perused together today. Tomorrow will be the day to bundle up and take the dog for a good walk in the wooded area near by. Wish it was the beach...
Did you find any good treasures today ?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend !

Love those socks...the colour is heart happy! We went out today -- antiquing/junking and found some good treasures. No sunshine, some flurries and very dull skies but the thrill of the hunt put all that in perspective.

Hi Kimmie, those socks are so pretty! We had lots of fog a couple of weeks ago which is very unusual for us. But then one day we had rain in the morning and dust in the afternoon so that's totally backwards, too. Anywho ... your prim and proper painting is very pretty. Now that you have all the supplies, I am sure you will be soldering again and it will be something wonderful and beautiful as always. I hope it does clear before you head to the beach ... but if not, then make your own sunshine and have a great day! Best wishes, Tammy

Gorgeous raspberry socks and so lovely how you have perfected them.
I venture out only into town to buy some sewing machine needles and we strolled around the shops just for a while. Bought 2 bunches of daffodils, instant sunshine!!!

Those are some seriously neat socks. I can't imagine that coming off of "sticks" as you say, for me!

Now I'm no sock knitter so am barely qualified to pass judgement ... but these socks look perfect!
