Hi, Kimmie: it's been a while since I've been to your blog. I sure have missed out on a lot!! I love your garden items and your amazing pictures. The photos are just stunning. You have a lot of great ideas and have put them to work nicely! The nikon coolpix is cool! I have a little cyber shot that I like very much and carry it in my purse for just in case... I had a great visit today! Here's to your health! Brenda
I too love my Nikon Coolpix which I've had for a good few years. Mine is the slightly larger P5100 as I find it easier to grip with my arthritic joints, having the "bump" on the front right. It also means that I can grip the camera well enough to take photos with one hand when necessary. It's still compact and I never leave the house without it. Woo hooo for Nikon! JoZarty x
I've been looking at cameras for several days and have narrowed my choice between a CoolPix L120 and a CoolPix P500. I'm not sure if I can find either of these in Wichita, but I'm going to see if I can get one or the other, since I have a "thing" about ordering anything over the internet. I'd never even HEARD of CoolPix until I asked you about your camera. I have come to the conclusion I am NOT a bad photographer, I just have a lousy camera. I know I sure love your macro shots!
I've been using the Canon Power shot A1100 for years but I am so enamored of your pictures, when the budget allows, I may just join you. Thanks for posting this.
Love this photo, love this camera....my daughter has one the same, it's not that old but it looks so"vintage". The photos from your previous post are amazing, beautiful colour and the addition of the water droplets just add a little bit of magic. xx
My camera has been dropped from a height and now has the battery door hanging at a jaunty angle (whomever dropped it is unwilling to admit to the crime) I've personally dropped it twice ~ once having all the len drop out on the carpark tarmac and yet it still works. I've wanted to purchase a new one but how can I when this one keeps giving? (in a hushed voice...if I do replace it I'm going to check out one like yours!) ;D
My camera is not so good anymore..so looking for a new one soon. Not sure what I want yet, but will check into the Coolpix cameras. Neat photo Kimmie, as always. You really have a good eye for taking neat photos.

ReplyDeleteThat's what I have! A pink one as well!
ReplyDeleteI use my DSLR most of the time now but my little Coolpix takes closer, finer macros than my DLSR.
