stuff and sky

I've stuffed 6 matchboxes
I like to make these with a theme in mind
such as:
(top row)
time for love, ocean memory, heartland
(bottom row)
spring fever, journey, a stitch in time

I like to think of these as the contents of an 8 year old child's pockets
emptied out before wash day

my next task is creating the outer sleeve
(a future post)

my sky picture today is taken from the car at dusk

  4. That sky looks ominous. But your match boxes look like something that I would empty from MY pockets (grin). Love them.

  6. GREAT!!!! Tiny Trinket Treasures,
and the sleeves will say it all. Maybe this is a new category of your arti products. Feel free to take the title if it pleases you. I love them.

Your sky portends some change in the weather. What will it be? Did you see my blog today? Peek: http://mscomfortzone.blogspot.com/2012/01/spirit-muse-sunday-on-seventh-day.html

  7. Now those are tiny yet very interesting, like little treasures, which I love.
Hope that sky doesn't bring too bad of weather for you.

  10. It looks like Monet grabbed your camera - such a gorgeous shot of an active sky. Now I'm intrigued by your little match boxes.

  13. I love these little boxes and can't wait to see them in their final form... really intriguing and interesting... I am so happy to have caught up with your last few posts... you have been buried under snow while we have been drenched by hot and humid flooding summer rains... that snow looks pretty welcome actually...
thinking I may go and brew a pot of autumn Spice Tea and gaze at those snow shots and pretend it isn't disgustingly hot and humid...xx

  15. I'm a sucker for all things small. I wish I was a recipient of one (or all) of these little match boxes. I especially even loved all the "stuff" spread out all over the table. That is the kind of stuff I could spend hours just looking at!

  16. What fun little boxes...themed and everything. I love the thought of emptied pockets. All I find in my kids pockets are candy wrappers and since I don't check pockets...I find the wrappers in my washing machine.
