inspiration

I have been inspired by the "on the go" sketching and painting (plein air) done by
and
I usually comment on their blogs something along these lines,
"wow! thanks for sharing your sketchbook! you have inspired me to get out and paint something!"
but do I?

... no ...

I have the best excuse:

rain

oh, and cold too

today I did it!

from inside the car

hey, it works for me

:)

A lovely painting! I go sketching in my car sometimes too-very comfy! I have not tried painting though.

Kimmie...you did a great job!! Love the brush strokes and the area of the trees...they are there, yet you can see through them. Hard to do with watercolors.

Simple beauty...love it! Awesome car work. :)
I usually bring my "idea book" with me when I have to wait anywhere. Looking around at the sights and sounds sometimes inspires me and if I don't make a few notes...a sketch or something...it's lost.

I'm enjoying catching up on your blog posts. This is so much fun because I have missed SO much.

Thanks for stopping by even when I was unable to reciprocate. I hope you had a great start to the new year and you experience a bit of sunshine in your world soon!

I'll see you tomorrow for tea. I've been sick that I wasn't able to join in for two weeks, especially around the holidays.

Plien air from inside the car. Why not?
And to see here that I have been one of your inspirers! WOW!!!!
Thank you Kimmie.
I am stoked.
And you know it just gives me all that much more incentive to keep doing it too!

Hugs from me!
