remember the dried orange slices?
I used some of them to decorate a large willow wreath from the dollar store
I attached the slices with fishing line
and tried to alternate the more "well done" slices with the slices that were more on the "rare" side

it's a nice patch of sunshine on my entry way mirror
:)
Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the mirror too!
ReplyDeleteLovely and I know it smells good too!
ReplyDeleteI was waiting to see what you were going to make with those orange slices, because I bought a bunch of limes I want to do the same to. Of course, I'll be "dehydrating" mine in the oven, since I gave my dehydrator away. It simply was not cost effective and didn't work well. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI will bet this adds a fragrance to your holidays....Blessings, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteThat is AWEsome!
ReplyDeleteDoes it smell citrusy?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kimmie! Such a lovely way to brighten your home. pen x
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeletesimple original beautiful and if you get hungry...tasty
ReplyDeleteAwesome! And when you get tired of it, it can go outside for the orioles...if you have orioles. They adore oranges!
ReplyDeleteI want to come in your house... Leave the wreath up! That is why I want to move in... ;o)))
ReplyDeleteI just dried some slices - a la Martha Stewart - some came out well done- maybe 250 degree oven as she said, was too hot. Plus I am easily distracted!! I was planning on making individual ornaments with glitter- but I do love your wreath!!!
ReplyDeleteWell done adds character!!
I discovered these years ago in a cross stitching magazine. Always meant to make one. Wish I had. This is just pretty. :D
