it's been frosty

we've had some beautiful frost in the mornings
it covers everything like sugar on a cake

this picture below is a cabbage leaf with dew droplets frozen in place:

foxglove:

boxwood:

fennel:

rose:

I'm hoping for a hoar frost .... those are truly magical

p.s. I will link today's post with Rebecca's postcards from paradise ... link link link

I almost believe it is colder in your neck of the woods than mine. I am truly impressed with your camera (and photographic skills, too). SUPER photos.

dear sweet kimmie,

each and every capture is delicious!
truly frozen in time treasures.
you are stirring my memories of some sugar sprinkled citrus candies. do you remember them? i can almost taste the sweet and tart the crunchy crystal texture on the outside and the dense citrus within.

i am always smitten with beauty here...today you have taken me to a crystal wonderland!

thanks for linking and each postcard from paradise.
