tea break

I'm having cherry, rose hip iced tea today
with a whole baby lemon sliced thin
and a side of paint water

a few clunky chunky rocks too ... and there you have the perfect tea time menu
no crumbs!

I've taken a little break from chores today
made myself some iced tea and am sitting down to re-paint the rocks of my kitty memorial marker

are you going to take a break from your chores too?
I hope your summer is going well .... I know it's been awfully hot for most of you ... a perfect excuse to skip out on chores and sip some iced tea :)

do you have a tea post today?
mention it when you leave a comment, and we'll stop by to say hello!

Love it......"paint water on the rocks', delicious ! Your photos are so wonderful, and inspiring ! The iced tea is such a beautiful rich colour and this really does look delicious. Love the idea of a 'kitty memorial'. We of course are in the middle of winter here so no iced tea happening, I am about to put on a rolled roast of pork with a fig and pistachio stuffing.......comfort food for a cold winters night. Enjoy your tea Kimmie ! xx

Nice to see the Kitty memorial is getting a new paint job. And I love the look of that tea with the lemon. It is gorgeous and I bet it tastes wonderful, too. Yes, it's hot here and the only cool time of the day I have for art has already come and gone. Have an awesome Tea Tuesday and enjoy your gorgeous weather. Ours still won't break.

Kitty's memorial stones sure look fresh and clear again. Such a great idea as a marker.

I'm having red tea today also, but with blueberry. Love your photos as always. Yes, I'm taking a break from outside yard work today to just work on my fiber art piece. Come visit my tea post here to see the start of it...

Our internet is very slow today for some unknown reason so I've been unable to post. :/ Your kitty memorial stones are so sweet! Hope you have a great rest of the day. Best wishes, Tammy

hmmm, a side of paint water with tea, is that kinda like a shot of tequila with a beer?

Tea . . . Paint . . . Rocks! Of COURSE!!! They all go together!!! LOL! Your beautiful rocks will make a very lovely and special memorial. And, yes, yes! I DID take a break from my "have to to list" today! I played with my new sewing machine and embroidered a few bandana's for my grand daughter's new 'rescue' pooch. Must say -- I'm not sure who rescued whom!!! They're inseparable!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
