sun tea in the garden

... we have had three days of sunshine now ...
how quickly all is forgiven
:)

the herb garden was calling to me
I wish I had taken a "before" picture!
this was a mass of forget-me-nots
and was actually much prettier!
but at least now it is back to a state of
restraint
order
and
manageability

how nice it was to have thyme to work in the garden today!
and carefully tend to things in need of attention
this is the marker I made several years ago for our beloved
kitty witty

these poor stones need a re-painting I think!

***

are you enjoying thyme for tea?
I hope you are!
link your tea post here - we all love to pop around and say hi!

How lovely it must be for you to have some sunshine. Your herb garden looks a treat, even tho I do love that very pretty and delicate blue of forget-me nots. Yes I had Thyme today to do a Tea post and I am loving the sun shining through your tea and ice, looks beautifully refreshing. Happy Tuesday to you. xx

Thyme to visit with you is always time well spent dear Kimmie!

Glad the sun found you and is staying awhile...reading about your forget-me-nots...well that just happens to be my tea for today...I too had wished I'd taken a picture of them

your rock painting goes way back and seems just perfect to me!

Happy T to you dear one!

Love the water/ripple effect in the teas and glass top table.
And, Kitty Witty's marker - how sweet.
After a brief respite, I am back for tea - drop by!!!

Happy Tuesday Kimmie! I have quite a few herbs planted in my tanks too. I intend to use all of them, but more than likely will only use a few of them. However, guaranteed...I'll enjoy all of them. I love to touch and smell!

Hi Kimmie, I have been enjoying sun tea too! I make it almost every day. Glad you are enjoying the sunshine & your herb garden, and I love your garden marker for your beloved kitty witty...so sweet!

I should make some sun tea because it is SO hot already. Love the look of your herb garden. All my herbs are dead. Sad, but true. Only a bit of dill left in my garden.

On a side note, I love your witty kitty. Instead of paint, they may just need a good cleaning.

Hey Kimmie! We may not have sunshine, because of dust, but we sure have the heat. Over 120 every day. Yikes! What does that mean for the rest of the summer? I might have to switch to iced tea. :) Hope your day is wonderful. Tammy

Sun tea! Of course! I just don't think about making it. But I plan to harness the sun's power today by hanging out laundry to dry (save a few pennies on our electric bill- may not show since we have our a/c running constantly!)

I'm with Elizabeth, your Witty Kitty marker may just need some cleaning. I like it looking aged.
Happy Tea Day!
:)

Happy Tea Tuesday :) I'm haveing a problem with blogger--it really isn't behaving! It's gone back to the 'old' setting and won't change back or load properly. I'll have to contact them I guess.
But thought I'd come and say hello. I'm drinking Echinecea tea today and nursing a cough.
