I love that! I have a hole in my jeans and was just wondering what I might do to repair them -- this looks a bit difficult for the likes of me, though!
never was good at repairing my sons jeans. the patches always came off in the wash. this is a lovely patch for sure. can i send you some of my holey jeans???
Either that was a tiny hole or those are the loosest weave jeans I've ever seen. This patch is gorgeous and I have to agree it doesn't even LOOK simple or easy. Very good patch job.
Just beautiful ! Jeans are precious, a little tear just adds to their character and some gorgeous embroidery adds even more to their personality. Love the texture going on in this photo too. xx
Charming! As I get older, I fall more in love with mending what you have and continuing to wear it. Too bad the kids grow out of their clothes and can't do the same. xox Corrine
Well, Kimmie! Your beautiful handwork brought a big smile to MY face too! Who wouldn't love wearing this patch that really isn't a patch!!! Beautiful!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
The ultimate in recycling. I am a product of the 60's and had the most wonderful jeans with patches and also skirts made from jeans. I wish I still had some of them! Strange word verification: rub dunk
I love it! When my girls were little, fringes were all the rage. I remember sewing fringes on to their jeans just as they were getting too short. Got plenty more wear out of them and the girls loved them!
I am with Patty, I thought it was a crying TEAR, not a tear... love the patch and it would bring grins to a 58 year old as well! guess I had better get my jeans out...

People pay big money for holey jeans. :/ I like this style much better. :) Happy day! Tammy

Awesome patch job!! I have done very similar. I have my "heart knee jeans" and the kids have several versions of mom patches...

Lucky girl! Lucky Mom!
the English language has so many twists and turns ... I did not read your subject line as tear = torn ... rather mend a tear = from the eye
