a cup of sunshine

my tea today is a new one I picked up at my local tea shop

I'm in there about once a month to pick up my
Montana Gold Tea
(which you can order online at everythingtea.net)

the Montana Gold is really for my daughter
(it's a delicious rooibos tea with orange and cinnamon .... she drinks it in the car on the way to school)

but every time I'm in there
I find something tempting for me

I don't succumb to the chotchkas
(although I would like to get an owl someday)

but I do love to bring home a new tea to try

and on rainy days such as these I need something full of sunshine

what are you having today?

* * *
What is Tea on Tuesday?
... click on the tab by that name at the top of the page to find out more.

Today I am experimenting with "Mr. Linky"
I usually have a blog list and may go back to doing it that way,
but I thought we could try something a little different today ....

... but, please leave a comment even if you don't do the Mr. Linky thing

I always drink Kukicha first thing in the morning. I dont drink coffee and Kukicha feels dense and is dark like coffee.

your tea shop is marvelous. i would like to find a small one person two cup teapot some day. most of them feel to large for me.

That tea look right up my alley. Love the owl cups. So 1970s...or at least that's what I think of when I see owls.
Have a great day!

Now that is a fun tea shop. Full of whimsy and quirk. I would love an owl tea/coffee cup. Mine are kind of boring for the most part. And just the name alone "Montana Gold" sounds wonderful. I'll have to check out the website. Thanks for the cup of warm and sunny tea :)

Hi Kimmie, I love the tea you chose today, citrus has a way of perking up the rainy day blues! I also love the art work in the background, you truly are amazing.... hope that one of those owls flies over to roost in your kitchen. Happy T- Christen

Yeah.
Mr Linky is good.
Now
I will say this in my scary demonic voice so that you get the picture:
I want an owl right now

Now.
Really,
This Mr. Linky thing is good.
I say go with it.

Because life is short, and I like to get right to the wine. err, tea.

I love the sound of Montana Gold.. I don't normally like, flowery, scented tea but the citrus and the cinnamon sound delicious. I also love the the 'bloom; and 'grow ' disks you have behind your mug. Did you make them ?Happy Tuesday to you.xx

Oh, I did the Mr. Linky thing but I don't really have a Tea On Tuesday post up today, although I do talk a little about Moroccan tea glasses, does that count ?

I hope you accept anonymous comments tonight Kimmie. Thanks for adding me today. We have stopped at a friend's place in Kingman, AZ tonight and I wanted to say hi.

The tea shop looks like a tea paradise. We don't have a tea shop in our town. Because it's a university town I think one would do well, but no one has opened one. It would be great to go to a tea tasting.

Lovely pictures.

I hope your Tuesday was a perfect one.
