Kimmie: Daily I look forward to finding solace in your art. The manatee (with such an all-knowing face) yesterday brought fresh tears and fears but I'm so grateful that you captured those feelings. The seashells are lovely. Over and over I send you grateful thanks!

Best,
Bonnie

isn't it fun to take a seemingly simple object to paint...and then realize how complex and intricate these really are!

I was surprised and pleased to read that a state has a sea shell. Being in a landlocked state, I found that very interesting.

How can something so simple be so complex?!? I've always love conch shells, and when My In-Laws lived in FLA we came home with bags of them. I've had mine on display for years, and love to touch and hold them to my ear to "listen for the ocean". Your watercolors are so dear, Kimmie. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gifts with us. Hugs, Terri xoxo

Love your series - you should think about putting it together in a book - and sell it to raise funds for the animals..............just a thought!
