Only 5 days after the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon.

I have just begun honoring the life of the Gulf through my own creative work - stitching, crocheting, sewing. I am just getting started, but feel a real impulse to do this. What a great, positive way to deal with this and the sadness that comes from all of it. I just feel like I want to avoid it. I have had emails from people who subscribe to MoveOn.org and the images are beyond belief. I am so saddened by the selfishness of us, a human race. All for oil, greed, money. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves! I wouldn't be surprised if Mother Earth just kicks us off. We deserve it.
