another kind of stash

..... did you know some vegetables LOVE cooler weather?

.... I made space behind the strawberry patch for carrots, broccoli and lettuce.

... I'll be pulling out carrots all winter long. The ground is no different than the refrigerator.

    Very inspirational -- I'm going to look for somewhere to plant some veggies. Maybe that will be the answer to my malaise.

    Kimmie, I now have carrot envy! Those are very nice looking veg. Yes, we are planning our cold weather crops now and it's a great time for lettuce here, now the weather is cooling doen a little bit.

    Hum, I'll have to look into the cool weather veggies since our garden this year, with the exception of the tomatoes, was a bust. Thanks for the idea.
