bordering

Art supply rebel that I am -
expensive mats, frames,  and framing
are not immune to my rebellion

I prefer to do it my own way
These are all my latest photo transfers on canvas board.
With each one I've painted a border.
Copper tape, solder, jump rings, and a short chain finish them off.
I rather like the result.
You might say it borders on something ...

  2. Borders on brilliance! I do so want to learn to solder. I have actually soldered but it was to replace a faucet when I had a broken pipe. Neatness didn't count.

  5. love it! I am a co-rebel...I resist using traditional frames with glass to finish off an art piece...your borders are magnificent -does your art work justice!
