finding color

on a day like this, I can't help but move from black and white

(painting stones)

to color

(gift from a friend)

to technicolor

(blue sky after rain)

are you finding color in your day?

  1. I miss you when you disappear but am sucked right back in to the beauty of your art and photos!

I think there's been too much color in my days of late. I sort of wish for some muting button, to tell you the truth.

  2. Iconic! I moved into color and light today at the blog...in real life, things got a bit drab. But these visions you offer make days end bright! :->

  3. I have a box of spools sitting in my kitchen. They started all neat and tidy (from an auction) but they've been there for a couple of weeks being tossed on the counter to the window seat, dumped out accidentally a couple of times. They wait for me to take a picture of them because I've been enjoying the color of them. :) Now, the picture will be of tangled thread unless I find some patience somewhere to tidy them up again!

  5. It's a bit gray here today, so there's a wash over the colors, but I know it's there! Beautiful!

  8. Love the little birds you paint. Yes, I love color. Today we are cooling off, getting rain off and on, and leaves are falling finally. Lots of color going on.
