I remember these from when I was a child and they always fascinated me....I thought the glass was so pretty. Love what you have done with them, very clever. xx
Oh, they are pretty! I made candle holders of them in the 70s, too. We glued a ring on the bottom so they would stand and put thick tapers in them. I like them even better with the wire!
They probably did just make them in batches as quick as they could. Love the different colors and the way you have repurposed them. Hope you are well. Best wishes, Tammy
Lovely :) the colour in the glass is so pretty! Just getting back to 'normal' here. Your previous posts are awesome, especially your stamps/stamping! Your photography is awesome too Kim :)
wonderful. Lovely. LOVE the wire! so, enquiring minds want to know - what weight of wire? don't know much about wire wrapping - but what do I need to get started? Thanks Kimmie - I love the inspiration of your blog! Good brain food....
Sweet!

ReplyDeleteI did that exact thing once upon a time, back in the 70's. I still love them, as classic good design never goes out of style. Great job Kimmie!
