today my workdesk is bathed in warm sunlight
a good day to make a birthday present for my sister
and drink some iced tea
a combination of:
irish breakfast tea (NOT decaf)
red zinger tea (rosehip and hibiscus)
p.o.g. juice (pineapple orange guava)
now if I could just bottle up this color and use it for paint!
what are you up to today?
hot tea?
cold tea?
coke?
lemonade?
whatever your beverage is,
I hope you're also having a good day to go along with it!

I adore iced tea -- no sweetener, any flavor.
ReplyDeleteI've been having some sugar-free stuff today. A Crystal Light variety of orange and strawberry. So darned hot...it needs to be COLD!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, that colour is so beautiful! Maybe water colour paper would soak some of the vibrant rays :)
ReplyDeleteThe gift looks interesting too :)
That sounds like a very interesting tea concoction. Happy creating! Tammy
ReplyDeleteWow - what a blend - sounds good!! Hope you show off the gift when it is a finished project (without spoilinmg the surprise!)
ReplyDeleteToo early - that should be SPOILING(!), not spoilinmg.......
ReplyDeleteThat tea sounds yummy and looks even more so. I agree that it would make a perfect tangerine color. Fantastic looking gift for your sister. I like that definitely 50ish image. Would love to find something like that. I hope to see the finished project, because I can tell it's not ready to ship yet.
ReplyDeleteYour tea does look wonderful and sounds so too!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics!
A hot cup of Earl Grey is my favorite cuppa!
Happy T to you dear one!

Hello Kimmie...could you please remove me from #7? I somehow pasted your blog address instead of mine. Little foggy yet this morning I guess and it's after 8?!

ReplyDeleteHi Kimmie. Your tea sounds amazing, although may be a little sweet for my savoury palette, but I am with you on the colour, just beautiful, the colour of sunset. No tea post from me today, way behind on craft projects with dead-lines so will be busy in the studio. Have a great Tuesday. xx
