someone had this teapot on a recent blog post
and for the life of me I cannot remember who it was
(if it was you, please raise your hand!)
... anyhow ....
it is really very cool
siberian rose tea |
it's a basket that nests at the top of the pot
you put your tea in,
then your water,
then you push the button,
and all the water pours down into the pot
it makes PERFECT green tea
because it's fast
(you can't steep green tea)
it's also perfect for my Siberian Rose Tea
which I picked up while in Seattle last week
at the Vital Tea Leaf in Pike Place Market
(here's the link to find the teapot)
they have tea tastings all day long
I only live about 30 miles from Seattle
but "going into the city"
is always a treat
especially when there's tea
:)
Happy Tea on Tuesday!
share your tea with us
(Mister Linky is the butler)
Your tea and teapot look superb. Wow, a shop with tea tastings all day long. We British are know for our tea drinking but I'm not aware of any shops like that, it's a real shame because I'd be a regular :)
ReplyDeleteI love your new tea pot. Where can I find a link to purchase one? Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fantastic tea pot. I will share it with my tea loving friends. Thanks for sharing it here. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteSounds like something I could use. I will look for it. Thanks and happy tea day.

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that we are both having a rose tea this morning. However, yours is definitely more beautiful and I think harder to prepare than mine. And I love the tea pots from the tea tasting you shared with us. It looks like ones you never wash.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful tea time today. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to use the link.
Oooo what a gorgeous rose tea Kimmie..I think it might be easier to over brew because you spend time admiring it and oops...time is up ;)
ReplyDeleteViolets are my tea post today
Seattle is a place Mr M and I would really like to visit someday!
Happy T to you...Mr Linky must have stepped out for a bit...couldn't find him anywhere.

I've not drank a lot of tea but do drink decaf tea at night when I'm stressed. I must say though that this pot and that tea could make a tea lover out of me. I love gadgets and "a process". Someday may need to try something like this!
ReplyDeleteMr. Linky does seem to be AWOL so here is my link:

Your tea gadget is very cool. The rose tea looks very pretty. I'm not sure I'd enjoy the flavor though. Not so fond of floral teas.
ReplyDeleteAs Elizabeth and Patty said...you Mr. Linky isn't working.

I just bought that same teapot for myself and can't wait until it gets here...And that rose tea, I have to buy! I love flower teas and wish we had a tea shop like the one you went to nearby my house. My brother used to live in Seattle so I have fun memories of Pike Market Place.
ReplyDeleteTea on Tuesdays
I did not know that there were roses in Siberia (haha) and that green tea could not/ should not be steeped (which is maybe why I dislike it-- I have made it too bitter from steeping!!!)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tea you have today. I am drinking from a cactus mug... :)
What gorgeous little pot and such pretty flowers. I think we should all meet at the tea shop and sip tea all afternoon and visit :)
ReplyDeleteHop over to my place for a visit :) http://bitsbynancy.blogspot.com/2011/04/tea-on-tuesday-and-making-flowers.html
TEa at my place today also- I see you just couldn't wait after seeing that tea gadget!!!LOL I may have to get one from Julieanna's now!!!Rose tea looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteI think there's something nearly spiritual about putting those beautiful rosebuds in a teapot and then drinking their essence.
ReplyDeleteWhat a special teapot, Kimmie! No wonder you fell in love with it - so romantic and aesthetically pleasing. ((Sigh!!!)) Just what I needed today . . . a bit of serenity in a crazy day!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteOOOH ! this little pot looks great, and the tea with the little rose buds looks beautiful and I'm sure it smells amazing. I love tea shops...tea shops and book shops...they always have a calming vibe.
