gadget love (tea post)

someone had this teapot on a recent blog post
and for the life of me I cannot remember who it was
(if it was you, please raise your hand!)
... anyhow ....
it is really very cool

siberian rose tea

it's a basket that nests at the top of the pot
you put your tea in,
then your water,
then you push the button,
and all the water pours down into the pot

it makes PERFECT green tea
because it's fast
(you can't steep green tea)

it's also perfect for my Siberian Rose Tea
which I picked up while in Seattle last week
at the Vital Tea Leaf in Pike Place Market
(here's the link to find the teapot)

they have tea tastings all day long

I only live about 30 miles from Seattle
but "going into the city"
is always a treat
especially when there's tea

:)

Happy Tea on Tuesday!
share your tea with us
(Mister Linky is the butler)

It appears "the butler" is still on spring break! Oops! Just mention your tea post in your comment and we'll pop in to say hello! Cheers!

  1. Your tea and teapot look superb. Wow, a shop with tea tastings all day long. We British are know for our tea drinking but I'm not aware of any shops like that, it's a real shame because I'd be a regular :)

  6. How wonderful that we are both having a rose tea this morning. However, yours is definitely more beautiful and I think harder to prepare than mine. And I love the tea pots from the tea tasting you shared with us. It looks like ones you never wash.

Have a wonderful tea time today. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to use the link.

  8. I've not drank a lot of tea but do drink decaf tea at night when I'm stressed. I must say though that this pot and that tea could make a tea lover out of me. I love gadgets and "a process". Someday may need to try something like this!
Mr. Linky does seem to be AWOL so here is my link:

  9. Your tea gadget is very cool. The rose tea looks very pretty. I'm not sure I'd enjoy the flavor though. Not so fond of floral teas.

As Elizabeth and Patty said...you Mr. Linky isn't working.

  14. I just bought that same teapot for myself and can't wait until it gets here...And that rose tea, I have to buy! I love flower teas and wish we had a tea shop like the one you went to nearby my house. My brother used to live in Seattle so I have fun memories of Pike Market Place.

  15. I did not know that there were roses in Siberia (haha) and that green tea could not/ should not be steeped (which is maybe why I dislike it-- I have made it too bitter from steeping!!!)

Beautiful tea you have today. I am drinking from a cactus mug... :)
