I don't have a video,
but maybe a slideshow would do?
Feel free to leave questions.
This example used just gesso,
but if you want the colored effects of the last 4-patch,
you can just play with some paints to get that.

you can follow THIS LINK and view it in Picasa Web Albums)

ReplyDeleteWho'd have thought that a lowly pie plate and discarded bottle caps could be transformed into something so wonderful!!! Awesome slide show, Kimmie! Thank you!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun..Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletepretty amazing! now, do you mean one of those thin foil-like pie plates or just an old metal pie plate whatever they are made of I am not sure, aluminum perhaps. Well you must mean the foil type as how could you cut it with scissors otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed your metal art creations Kimmie. Being a collector of bottlecaps ... you've really inspired me AGAIN with this project...great step by step TFS!
ReplyDeleteThe yin and yang of your Gulf quilt and this metal quilt is fabulous!
