today's "t" ... and "life" happens

Today's "t" is brought to us by Ooglebloops - the theme today is "life!"
The tea I'm drinking is a powdered sencha green tea that you can just sprinkle into your water bottle, shake it up and you're good to go .... perfect for "life!"
I'm drinking it from my Tea Jar that I picked up at our local tea shop here in town.
(I've given you the link to shop online - but their website is under construction and the tea jars aren't listed yet)

and now - for my take on "life:"
... a life this orderly looks nice from the outside looking in ...
but consider all of the "life" that is missing

... a little bit messy ...
but, oh my, the "life" that is here

a pile of shoes means people are home
mistletoe in March is a nice excuse to kiss
pictures in the mirror shows that friends and family are missed
a jumprope on the bannister is an invitation to play
a dog by the door is a safe feeling
kitcsh-y St. Patrick's day decorations means kids love a holiday - any holiday

"life" happens - why keep it tidied up?

  3. Homes are reflection of our lives. Yours is lovely and orderly...with signs of life...sweet life. I, too, love your dog. Pets add so much to our everyday lives.

Enjoy your Tea Tuesday. I don't know if I've ever told you, but I appreciate you starting this tradition. It's most enjoyable.

  4. our dog is a Bouvier des Flandres ... which is a cattle dog. He's never seen a cow, but he tries to herd the kids ... the Bouvier does his herding with leaping, spinning, head butting and body slamming .... very unlike the border collie who just psychs out the sheep with their eye contact. My kids give him a run for the money - but we usually keep him indoors when they're all running around in the backyard - he's just too physical.

  5. A home filled with love has elastic walls, and smudges, and crumbs, and laughter, and joy, and sticky hugs, etc. Ain't life grand!!!! Hugs, Terri xoxo

  8. Oh Kimmie I totally agree - when I'm complaining... "The house is a mess" my husband says.. "it's lived in"
I'm happiest in "lived in" houses !
We are lucky we can have pets though Joe had asthma is growing out of it ( I always said he would - he grew "into" it after all ! I never stopped having pets.

    Thanks for stoping by xx
