my favorite dish

... is my grandmother's candy dish.
She used to always have a supply of those strawberry hard candies with gooey filling.
Yum.

Now it keeps small 2 inch pieces of art (twinchies) that I've swapped with friends ...
less fattening :)

    I LOVE your corner view! I have some similar glass candy dishes of my grandmother's -- hers always held wrapped hard candies. I wonder what our children will have of ours when we're old and gone?

    i have a favourite dish as well, from my great aunt. it sits on the coffee table so that i can look at it every day.

    "art twinchies" may have fewer calories but are just as tasty - a feast for the eyes. It's such a beautiful candy dish. Wonderful thoughts on your Corner View.

    Love the little glass dish,Kimmie.
    I have seen similar shaped ones with the lids and have always loved them. I have a little glass
    dish with a handle on it and I keep
    peppermint candies in it, on my
    coffee table. It's a help yourself treat bowl.
