slipping into the next season

freshly washed slippers
I knitted and felted these last winter
I'm thinking I'll be making them all over again
.... the feet have grown
and they want to keep their favorite colors
(my pink ones still fit though)

  1. Just this morning a friend of mine and I were discussing "felting"! It must be the time of year to think of cozy feet and hands. And nothing says "love" better than something handmade.

Love this capture, Kimmie! This pic is good enough to be featured in "Victoria" Magazine!!! Gorgeous shot! Hugs, Terri xoxo

  4. Oh, I love felting. I was thinking about giving it a try. Do you have any recommendations for books? And are the slippers difficult to make?

  11. they're not difficult to make ..... for this pattern I used big sized 13 needles and a double strand of yarn. The felting hides a lot of mistakes :)

  12. Hi Kimmie, Please do a tutorial or show us where to go to make those amazing slippers. Saying I love them is not enought to describe how much I want a pair of those and my hubby would be in heaven to feel them against his leg at night instead of icy toes! Hugs, Mollye
