reflection

The theme while out walking

seemed to be reflections in water

The lovely geometry of a power line:

The world in a raindrop:

A tree branch in a puddle:

Branch and root weaving in and out:

Mirrored spikes of grass:

silver linings

Many cloudy sky paintings from this week:

"Was I deceived, or did a sable cloud

Turn forth her silver lining on the night?

I did not err;

There does a sable cloud

Turn forth her silver lining on the night,

And casts a gleam over this tufted grove."

-John Milton, Comus, 1634

One of the things I love most about selling on Etsy is wrapping.

This is going in the mail to California today.

It's one of my "shield stones,"

of which I need to make more!

Tattoo art.

Nordic shield.
